So I called a recruiter today to talk to them about Transferring over to Bulk. She was extremely pleasant and helpful,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,until she found out that I was already a Schneider employee and then became extremely rude and snotty. I thought that she was playing a joke on me at first but then I realised that She was serious. She could not get me off the phone quick enough.
Been at home since sunday afternoon, but had a delivery monday morning then was off again. I really hated how people just dump trailers wherever they want without any regards to whether they actually just blocked someone in or park 5 feet away from another one, so I spent 2 hours shuttling trailers around the yard, making room. I made over 8 spaces and found an OOS trailer that a colostomy bag , of course, didn't write up. One landing gear leg wouldn't rise and it looked like he had drug it until the landing gear pad almost was ground off the leg. But it made me feel good to make the yard nice for drivers coming in. I always get embarrassed when guys come here and express what a crap hole it is.
My CDL expires in September and I'm in a dilemma. I had my house foreclosed on in January of this year. When I was out of work for 8 months last year. I only went over the road so I could save money and get out of debt, So I never got an address. I just stay in Hotels when I come home, which has been 4 times this year. The new CDL laws in my state say that if you move, you have to provide 2 items to prove your residence. I looked at just renting for 2 months, but places want $1000-1200 per month for a 1br for such a short lease. When I go in to renew, should I just not tell them that I had the house foreclosed on and make it seem like I'm still there? I have a PO box that I have been using since I hired on at Schneider last August? I have had some people say to just say that I live with friends and then have mail and such mailed to their house, but to me, that is still lying and now I'm involving another person in that lie.
I'm sorry if there is an easy answer and i'm just not seeing it. I'm also worried than apartments won't rent to me because of the foreclosure and the few months of missed payments for the house. It's just stupid, I have lived in the darn state for 24 years.Last edited: Jul 23, 2014

Yeah, a few people have said that. My DBL have been fantastic with me and I don't want to disrespect him in anyway, but at the same time.......get the lead out, Buddy LOL!

Just keep your address the same and plead ignorance if they find out it was foreclosed lol
scythe08 Thanks this. -
Technically your LA ST address is the same. Just use it.
scythe08 Thanks this. -
Don't ask don't tell. Just tell the clerk at the dmv to use the po box as your mailing address because your street mailbox isn't secure because you're gone for so long.
Or rent a shelf in a closet from a friend for $10 bucks a month.
Either way violates the spirit of the law but you need to do what needs to be done to rebuild.
I like you am "homeless". I objected to paying $600 a month for a place I used less than 6 nights a month. The address on my licence is my ex girlfriend's. When I find a new girl, I'll have a new address.scythe08, mickimause, tynodine and 1 other person Thank this. -
