Delivered this morning in Rome ny. Picking up in Buffalo headed to Casper WY. Make for a 4400 mile paycheck. Luckily I got a fuel bonus this month so at least I had a couple hundred dollars for the week.

they tried to send me to MA on an overnight run. I let my DM know that it would run my 70 out and I would be sitting all weekend. So he fixed so I have a 1500 run for the weekend....I knew the CSRs wouldn't look at that. I only have recap so it will be a tight run.

not bad wyndup.
hoping my next load tomorrow is at least 1k miles. should have enough hours for something like that, a little more.
sitting at rutters in york, pa 1.5 miles from cons. the last 2 hours of the ride up were not exciting. traffic for 130 miles, constructions, 2 accidents....people driving like idiots. -
Made it to Laredo and took their lil pp test. I'm on my way to lil rock AR. I hope I get I good run after I'm unloaded around 9am. Sitting at petro in Hillsbro TX don't feel like fighting with Dallas rush hr traffic and plus I have plenty of time to make it to lil rock.

In Enid, OK for the night. My consignee was the only business on the street that had a gate. Had to park 6 miles down the road.
Wyndup good job on not getting roped into that short load. There was plenty of guys in Tulsa heading to Denton with pipe. I wouldn't be surprised if I would of been one of them if I delivered today. Got 27 hours this weekend hopefully Melton will use them. -
I have to give the credit to my DM. He takes care of me when thing like this happen

What do you mean by this??

the csr assigns the load based off of where you are and how many hours you have. They are good at the where you are part but only look at hour that it would take you to deliver. Not the overall big picture...like would I have hours to keep running or am I going to be stuck somewhere taking a 34

I got a 450 mile load for the weekend.... not happy about that. I have 20+ hours.
On the bright side, melton just announced a fleet wide raise of 2-4 cents per mile! -
