Okc seems to be hit and miss for me. Sometimes I come out if there w a huge smile and sometimes empty handed. Sorry to hear how it went for u today

 

Well it's just part of the bussiness.
For giggles I called the first broker up at 5 pm..
I told him I was still here if he needed me..
He said that I was not the only person who called on the load and told him he was too low..
Kinda made my day.
He asked if I was booked yet. Said no,but I was waiting on 2 different call backs in the morning.
He went huh?
Yep I got a bid on a Ne. and a Laredo out, so do not waste your time in the morning. First ok we will give you your rate, I'm outa here. He went kinda quiet..

I 2nd partial loading pushed to tomorrow morning, so another night in Tucson.

I have an email for a 3rd piece but am not holding my breath.

This "cluck" load is not my thing.

Pay is ok but not great. I passed on the 49' one because it needed blocking.

It's not even the trailer but 2 hours to load in 111 degree heat takes some of the fun out and the idea of doing it 2 more times sucks.

 

I need to get into step or rgn miss equipment hauling I did with the construction company.
Things go right this time next year I will be on my own authority. Just got to add to the capital.

 

Trucks fixed. Now off to play in the sand.

 

Dude, I get $1700 to go from OKC to Houston all day long on legal loads. That's horrible

 

Got the truck ready to roll. Loading another radioactive load to Utah. Then reloading Monday in SLC and headed for Dallas.
