I will never go back to MCLANES in Temple, Tx. 7 hours to unload 25,700 lbs. They rejected 6 cases for being crushed. Would have been out of there in 6.5 hours but stood in front of paperwork window for half an hour. Got lucky and was able to park at the truck stop up the block from them so at least that is one good thing that happened tonight. Have to sit here till I can do O.S&D for rejected cases. Its chocolate wonder if I will have a hard time getting rid of it, too bad I can't eat it maybe some will be sugar free.
Be safe out thereHometimeQueen Thanks this. -

Wulfman, go for it. That is a great place. Johnboy from Abilene Motor Express took me there when I trained with him back in the winter, and is my favorite to date. Well worth it. If you can down their 72 oz in 60 minutes, its free. Fabulous old time atmosphere with balcony railings and of course it has truck parking.HometimeQueen and wulfman75 Thank this.

Be safe out theredennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this. -
Yep ....our experiences with McLanes have been much the same. They are extremely rude and disrespectful to other company drivers but I have heard that their drivers are treated well and make very good money.
Hmmmph!
Yay! We are on the right track then .....now we just have to pinpoint the ones that have wifi.
Did I hit the right truck with lightning? I didn't have on my night vision goggles.
He was still stunned from the lightning bolt I sent his way!
You won't need a whole lot ....you'll be in the truck for the most part. I think on the original thread we had a list going for winter gear....I'll try to find it later for you.
jaso, you had 6 boxes of chocolate and you are only taking your wife 2????!......and she has to share with the neighborhood kids?!
We need to have a talk!
jungHo, are you alright? How is your mom? You have been pretty quiet. I am proud of you and George.....you are doing so well. It is a hard adjustment in lifestyle.
