Haulin scoria slows way down when the SNOW flys.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
they said that they r working between 70 n 85 hr per week...they pay between 25 to 35 per hour... i've been watching stories about ND oil rigs n working there...i know the housing problem
im going to be staying in the truck.....how bad is working there? -
am/pm recently had some trucks on a big highway project that i was working on. they were all freight-liner Colombia's a mix of belly and side dump trailers. they were kicked off the job for the driver not doing what they were asked to do. (not following the blade operators directions on how and where to dump there loads) iv seen a lot of there trucks parking at night in Stanley. trucks at first glance seemed to be maintained (never gave them a close look) but they didn't have bumpers hanging on with bungee cords and half there lights burned out like some outfits run.
so that's about all i know about them
dirt work will have a push depending on weather for the next month or two and then slump way off for the winter -
thanks for the info, i really apreciated... its good to know somethings before i get there... im planning to work for couple months to make money and come back...i hope i dont get frozen in the winter.

hello ev1,
I was reading about the work in North Dakota with AM PM trucking in ND I was wondering if anyone has anymore information. Im getting ready to be dropped off and would like to know more about the conditions. I also will be staying in the truck. what about showers, food, laundry, etc.. -
They also haul water, and at least on that side, they have one of the worst reputations up here. Pay problems, trucks in bad condition--mostly used OTR trucks which really aren't suited for the oilfields....lots of horrible drivers. Definitely a stepping stone company at best.

Their water trucks were leased on with us. Were. As of yesterday, that is no more.
rabbiporkchop and Shade_Tree Thank this. -
I have worked for AM AP Trucking and I will tell you it is nothing promising. Every thing they say they offer is them blow smoke up your behind. They over work you, and you hardly get any sleep and the trucks need work

i know a little more about am/pm than i knew when i made my last post here. i have never worked for them but i did become acquaintances with a few of there drivers this year. lots of equipment issues and other problems.
