Looks good. Good footage, interesting angles, good personality at the opening.

The only constructive criticism that I have is I can see that a lot of work and care went into the video and the choice of edits. But, maybe cut the dashcam portions down a little bit. Or do what you did towards the end and mix up the shots/angles. Some period music would have help connect with the auto museum (which is totally awesome).

There are tons of channels out there that show driving down the highway... I'd like to see yours stand out as you seem to have a good personality for the camera.

Maybe to help set yourself apart, you could add a video tips/tricks, which in turn would also help add value to it.

Just some thoughts from an ex-film/tv editor.

Have fun with that. The guys they have left are mostly all morons. Up here we refer to the. As S.H.I.T. Trucking. I'll be back in Casper Saturday sometime.

I definitely agree with what you are saying.

I just bought two GoPro Black editions yesterday, so as I can I will be placing them all over the truck so I can get lots of angles.

I also need to invest in some royalty free music so I can overlay that over the clips with bad or no sound.

A couple of ideas I have are showing how to pull the neck on the RGN, doing a review of the 2014 Jet 35 ton I am pulling, as well I am hopefully buying another truck pretty soon, so I will have video updates of everything I do to it, and I want to do a trucking news thing as well as get some audience participation with some Q&A as well as meetups when I go to truck shows and bump into people on the road.

The GoPro camera system has definitely revolutionized how video is shot. The only really limiting factor is the imagination anymore.

If you have a pretty good internet connection, theres places that have royalty-free music for free, but most will require some sort of subscription. But, it can be done for free.

Those are all great ideas, especially the Q&A, maybe instead of always answering "is flatbedding right for me" questions, we can just direct them to your channel..(just make sure to make it look harder than it is haha). I also think that some securement videos might be helpful to folks, give them a tour of the what, when, why and how.

    MrBeast.

Good production value. Good camera presence. You come off as a likable, reasonable, everyday kind of guy. I think you have the basis for a good channel.

    My input...

I think to pull subscribers, you need something more, a hook if you will. More talking? Ranting? Commentary on the day's events? How to? An insider's explanation of trucking? Personally I want to hear you talking. Pick what interests you. The camera is fine giving us road shots, but for me that isn't quite enough.

I subscribed and will be interested to see where you take it.

I really like that idea, I think what I will do is put a mount for my camera on my hard hat so I can have both hands free, then I can walk and talk and show people how its done.

I think a set of "Trucking Ain't for Sissies, Flatbedding really ain't for Sissies" videos would be great too. Maybe even couple them with some tee shirts and stickers.

You think you would like it more if instead of having to watch my face the whole time I put audio of me talking over the driving shots?

I do have a segment I am going to start doing (have the first one filmed) called "Idiot of the week" or "Idiot of the Day" where I am going to take some bone head driving maneuver someone does, film it, talk about it, and post it.

Yes, audio over the driving shots would be more interesting. TruckerJosh has started to do fast forward driving shots with music overlay and I just skip those. Driving shots are more interesting than always looking at the host, but driving shots by themselves won't hold my interest. I'm just one person though, and others may feel differently.

If you could incorporate an idiot of the day, that would be great to see. Maybe even an idiot trucker of the day and an idiot 4 wheeler of the day. Possibly a fashion montage at the end of the week showing all the worst of the truck stop slobs.

You could cash in with pay-per-view if you'd film yourself confronting people in the fuel island!
