They were going to hire me and I just turned 35. I turned down the job to stay at abf because of the benefits. The benefits at walmart were not good enough for my situation. It's a good company though.

 

Nope, I got an interview at 32 and 35.

 

There is no such policy.

 

I've been there 18 years and never heard of that policy.

 

Hey everyone!.....This is an amazing thread and I really appreciate the time you all have taken to assist drivers interested in joining the most prestigious fleet on the road! I have 24 yrs of experience and have got the call, passed the interview and am scheduled for pre-trip/road test tomorrow.....I just know that you all are responsible for a number of drivers actually getting cleared to join the fleet that otherwise wouldn't have...And I'm hoping to be one of them.....I've read the entire post and had a quick question...does anyone know the auto fail items on the pre trip by chance???...

 

Thanks drozzer69 and nyvet. .....passed my pre-trip and road test and they made me my offer. ....physical and drug screen are done looks like will be about 10 of us in class in a few weeks......I'm pretty excited and just wanted to give you guys your props....It is a pretty amazing feeling. ...everyone was so nice to deal with at the DC.....the sharing of your experience definitely made the process a little easier for sure.....Thanks again.....Be safe all!!!!!

Awesome. Congrats. I just hit my one year on July 15, went by fast! Hard to believe. And that amazing feeling? In MY experience, doesn't fade.
