I solved my spec issues by switching trucks. I didn't want to part with my Pete, but this is business, and I walked into a great deal on a truck with the right specs after a regional gas hauling company lost a contract and the OOs leased to them wound up SOL. At the same time I did find a wrecked 2011 Freightliner cut off (46, full locks), and found several guys who had switched airliners onto PETE frames, but the newer truck won out in the decision process.

It's an 04 FLD12064 with MBN, 229 on a CAT overhaul, extendable warranty, double frame, 46 rears, 14.6 front, full lockers(what I really needed), 18 speed(what I really wanted). Lots of recent work from a very conscientious owner operator. Moose bumper and other pimped out chrome stuff. I like it, but I miss my Pete of course. Also it doesn't take long to see why they call them "shakers," but I knew that having driven an FLD briefly before.

I sent you a PM with contact info for the firm that had that cut off. They move these things quickly with glider craze, and guys keeping/working on older trucks.
