10 hr break at York, PA off I-83N at the Diner 83....Great food!!!! Heading to Maine in the morning then over to Saratoga Springs, NY

 

Did you put your parking pass in the window? The owner there is psycho and is notorious for banging on your door in the middle of the night if you don't have proof you spent $10 in his restaurant.

 

Yeah, I put the parking pass and receipt on the front windshield. Ended up staying over night (longer than the 10-hours) and ate breakfast there too since it was Sunday and only had 500 miles to go to Saco, ME. Now, I at the Kennebunk Travel Plaza, exit 25 on I-95N/Maine Trnpk.

 

TA South of Normal Illinois. Dropping load tomorrow and repositioning North, but I don't have a dispatch yet. Just anticipating Chicago/Detroit.

 

Love's, Hillsboro, TX. Apparently they're detouring traffic to I-35 from I-45 due to a truckload of round bales catching fire...this place is a zoo! I got here almost 3 hours ago...whew!!

I've been there once before. It was definitely an experience. I wasn't brave enough to stay the night there, so I drove down the road about 15 miles to the Pilot on (I think) US-52. The funny thing about that drop lot is that it's right behind Dart's corporate offices. After having worked for them in the past, I didn't want to have to stare at their building all evening.
