Cummins ISX Still Overheating

    Temp readings per gauges...
    Also..On the way back to my yard..Oil Temp didn't drop below 230 even though coolant was between 180-190 on the flats.

    I had 43K on the wagon also...

    230 oil temp is spec. Don't worry about that. Pull your water pump off and look for damage.

    Did you say 43 k miles? That's very low mileage for that engine. Congrats you got the one in a million engine. Your out of time warranty not miles, They should do a goodwill repair at cummins, all you can do is ask.

    437K on the miles...I have 43K (Load) on the wagon...

    I have 6 mos. left on an extended warranty...

    Well if you warranty they should tow it to shop if you tell them how hot its running and no sense lying they will know once they plug into computer.

    My shop plugged into it and apparently it's more than they can handle...I refuse to take it to Rush Peterbilt's shop...They suck!!!

    Well how far is cummins if you go to rush they will have your truck at least a week.
