What kind of health insurance is offered? single or family coverage? To me, very important. Don't know your situation but I would never take good or excellent health care coverage for granted.

They have the Kaiser health plan at the chip hauler I'm looking into, I had Kaiser at another job years ago and it was great.
I'll definitely be crunching some numbers on that compared to what I have now, it all has to be taken into consideration that's for sure.

I don't know if they hire at one year experience or not, a lot of the better jobs like this you'll need 3-5 years before they'll look at you.
I got into chip hauling at one year, took another 2 years to get dayshift and weekends off and manage to average $1000 a week gross.
That's why I'm taking my time to make another move, it'll all have to be weighed out carefully and methodically before I make a decision to jump ship.
The good news for you is that time flys, you'll hit that year in a flash!
I can hardly believe I'm almost at 4 years already and 3 with this company....where did the time go lol.

Y2K are you still @ Walsh? I just interviewed with Walsh but the pay seems weird. They were talking about 27.-34 cents per mile and 9 dollars dump and pick up pay.. Seems like a lot of bull. Problem is I got a call from another company that's offering 20 an hr... ill be off sun-mon now I'm at a cross road. The other company wants me to unload two three stops a day with a non maybe powered pallet jack at fredmeyers. Just wondering what your doing now?/ Thanks Bud
