CFN..commercial fueling network. Like the private fleet fueling places. Got a question, what state you in ? When I lived in Az. the fuel tax wasn't added at a small convenience store operation and the pumps had stickers on them stating no highway commercial allowed to fuel.

Utah, and I've not seen anything like that on pumps here. A tax declaration sticker is on all the pumps here with how much of the price of fuel is state & federal tax.

That is for the "auto diesel" not for the big trucks. Better find out where you stand from maybe a scale house or a UHP unit.

Well, like a mentioned before, 1 of the Maveriks here is set up for big rigs. I don't think they'd do that if they didn't want us to fill up there. They're even high flow pumps.

If you market shop the NASTC deal, once in a while you'll find a close price like you have. It can happen, so maybe that deal isn't the best in your case. I fuel alot on the I-85 corridor in SC. The NASTC price at the TA is usually only 8-10¢/gal cheaper than the QT and cheap places nearby. So still a good deal, just not as great as the discount off TA's inflated cash price would lead you to believe. Oh yeah, the TA's are everywhere and have showers. QT has a great convenience store and nice lot, but not much esle if you're stopping longer than it takes to fuel and get some roller food. The other cheap places are mostly old dumps with parking that looks like a moonscape with all the craters.

Thanks, I'll certainly keep my eye out. I'm just not used to this business of having 2 prices anymore, 1 for cash & another for credit cards. Maybe I've lived out here in Utah for too long. We haven't had that here for many years. If you can use a credit card like cash, there's some pretty good deals out there. And by that I mean, pay off the entire balance every month, then you don't pay their high interest rates. Plus, you're getting an interest free loan. Yesterday I was online looking for another card that will give me 5% cash back on gas. I found a card that gives 6% cash back on groceries, up to $6000 of purchases a year. I don't know about you, but I think that's a good deal.
