If your parked truck gets smacked by someone and they get injured or their truck becomes inoperable -- they've just had a DOT reportable accident. And if you tell the officer you were in the sleeper (instead of, say, the subway restaurant looking out the window) -- you now have a dot reportable accident on your record too.

Injury/fatality or if ANY vehicle involved is towed away from the scene.

So why not just go to a local BMV or sherrif office In your home state of record and pull an driver license abstract for your self and see what it says , most company's do this annually on you anyway, it takes about 5 minutes and costs " for copys " like maybe 5 bucks or less just an idea , if the accident happened in another state then you could do it at most any BMV in that state. Just my 2¢
