I had a good visit with my family in VA an am back in NC now. Today was busy but fun: church, lunch, and a movie. We saw the new Transformers movie. My sun-in-law is a transformers fanatic. He is about 35 years old! It was a pretty good movie..very action packed. Even had a few big rigs in the movie, basically the tractors. In fact Optimus Prime was a beautiful red and blue tractor when not transformed!
For me there is a price to pay for having fun. It is 1 1/2 hour from my oldest daughter's house to Mom's. The movie was close to 3 hours. I usually get back home 6 or 6:30 pm. Well, today it was 7:50 pm! My baby bro called me, guilt tripping me, that I need to think of Mom, she was lonely. Wow! I'm here all week, for 2 weeks running & no break! Give me a break! Sorry for dumping. I did have a good time away for 2 days though!
Take care, Everyone!

I'm in Oak Grove, KY for the night and deliver in College Park, GA tomorrow. Swapped with one of those elusive happy lease ops. He's been here 7 years and making money. Very nice guy, we chatted for a bit.

I have just been mean tempered and tired so I thought I would spare you all ......but it hit me this evening that I couldn't be any worse than shippers, receivers, dispatch and brokers .....so now you all will just have to deal with it!

Well yippe kai yea!!!! My company has finally decided to scrap the pallet exchange program. Can't tell you how happy I am about that. Was getting tired of getting crappy pallets back for good ones in, and to be honest... we only made it back to Omaha, with pallets, maybe 15% of the time.
Gotta get the fuel guage fixed. The float in the tank just sucks. Hard to depend on it, when "close" isn't even in it's vocabulary!!!!HometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
Question ???
I see a lot of video's where people are backing to almost 90 Degree's.
What is the limit , can you go to 90 , can you pass it , is 90 too far ?
Also if you are dropping a trailer don't you have to be straight when you pull out ?
