I have a 2002 FL-60 Business class, 4 door with a single rear axle. I has an air ride cab, I replaced the air bags for the cab (the old ones were cracked and leaking), but it still rides rough. It rode rough before I changed the air bags. What can I do to make sure the air ride suspension is working properly.
Thanks

CK. to be sure the air bags on rear axels have enough air in them, if set to low it can feel like no good?

freightliner is the rought truck, people call it shaker.
air bags support sleeper, not front end of cab and that's why ride is so rought.
May be big rubber bushings under front end of cab are worn -
Also check the shocks for the air ride cab, one on either side of the cab bags, something doesn't sound right, (yeah, yeah it's a shaker but those ones and other models ride very nice). Check the rear bags make sure the ride levelling valve is working properly, it sits inside the frame by the rear axle) if you have a manual dump, deflate, watch the truck and make sure the bags refill shouldn't take more than a minute, (suspension should move a lot) also make sure the cab bags are filled. I got four "shakers" two air rides and two springs, air suspension on them is pretty straight up.

I have changed the shocks, a couple of years ago. However I do not put alot of miles on this truck. Rear bags seem to operate properly. There seems to be a valve right at he rear edge of the cab that has an adjustment to it. Would this be the ride leveling valve?

I'm not sure about that, on both my air ride trucks the ride levelling device is located further back tucked inside the frame. If the bags are not filled adequately the truck will bottom out harshly on bigger bumps ( that can damage the bags). Has something changed that it rides rougher now? New tires? Higher air pressures in tires? If this is RV type use and just running light loads tires can be adjusted accordingly ( check with your dealer)
