Well I am having the worst day ever apparently I decided to sleep in and arrive around 8:30am to customer well 200 feet from the customer there was a train stuck because one of his cars derailed so they said it would be 8 hours till he was back up and and moving then security came and escorted me to the back entrance pull into the parking lot and hear a metal cling noise park get out and look and oh hey spring leaf just broke, called SEM got approval to move from parking lot to unloading spot then back now just called company supposed to be coming out and doing on site repair said could be anywhere from 40 minutes to tomorrow morning till they can get out here to fix this, good news is that once I got stuck at the train spot I have been off duty almost 6 hours so my 10 hour is almost done lol and I will be sending in for breakdown pay idc if it's not 24 hours I am stuck at the customer sitting here waiting cause the trailer broke

Firespock, I hate to break this to you but the worst day I ever had was the day I broke a spring. If you are loaded it's really, really going to suck. It took me over 2 days to get out of there when it happened to me.

Will they be allowed to use a torch near the customer and the load you have in the tank? Really curious about that, last time I did leaf springs on a trailer I pretty much had that trailer on fire using the torch to cut off all the rusty bolts and pins and bushings etc etc. Couldn't imagine trying to do that job with a loaded trailer and not being able to get things hot.
