Hi, I've got cdl thru cre school in Fontana. In phase1 training with trainer who was terrible man, I had incident(accident) in gas station in Amarillo, TX It was second day I drove.I was followed by his instructions to get in into island and made little hit by iron pole and paint was scratched. My trainer said that we supposed to make a report.He did thru Qualcomm device and continued to drive to destination near Chicago. After finished, Driver manager said that stay in their designated motel till they call. I stayed three nights, then the safety department finally contacted me that you are unsafe driver and they terminated me. Long story make a short, week later after I got home in CA, I received bill statement $4999.95. If not pay within 30 days, they would turn this to collections. Again long story make a short, I paid $4000 one time which they offered me. What I am trying to tell you that MEVER CONSIDER CRE SCHOOL FOR CDL. JUS IMAGIN THAT CRE HAS 5 SCHOOL IN USA. Every week cre recruited student about 100 innocent people, so five hundred people a week, 2500 people a month in one location. Apoximally 50% will get licences, roughly 1250 people in one location. In total 5 locations, more than 7000 drivers a month.

OK, how they will put these student drivers into driver position? My answer is IMPOSSIBLE. That is why they fired me. They looking for every excuses for terminate reason. They never review my incident. According to their manual, they suppose to review every cases. The most evil thing they did to me is that CRE HR dept report to DAC. Since then wherever I apply job, other trucking co. won't hire. So now I am out of this business. STAY AWAY THIS COMPANY!!!!

 

Sorry to hear about your CRE experience, dddddddd951, but it seems very typical for that company. If you really want to keep driving a truck, don’t give up as you might be able to find something… especially if you can remain accident free for at least a few years.

 

Thanks for your advices. I've applied more than 10 companies thru online, but my results always not lucky. Do you or any guys out there have any ideas?

Just to play devils advocate here for a second...you had an accident your second day behind the wheel. What exactly were you expecting? The coveted "Golden Safety Award"?

Yes sir...its a bunch of tanker companies will take you with no exprience....tidewater transit.... schneider national bulk....superior carriers. ....groendyke transport. ...service transport. ..transport service co. ..mand I promise on my life you will make a heck of alot more money then you would pulling a box trailer. ..
just add your tank and hazmat endorsement...get your twic card and to go.....oh ctl out of florida too...u should average about 800 to 1000 a week just starting out but after that...u should make over 1000 a week easily with the right company...oh and trimac transportation as well...they drivers make 65k to 80k a year

realsupatrucka says, tankers are a solid choice, pays better than .26 mile for sure.
