I agree it would have to be an enticing raise and FSC can't decrease too much for me to be interested. I run almost all loaded miles last month I ran less than 1% mt miles so that FSC is a money maker for me.

We were told, at the Richmond academy, that a pay raise was coming but hadn't been officially announced yet. That was yesterday.

Back at our yard in Pharr. Delivered that short one today, went to pick up the one that I was told to pu early, after sitting awhile and told them that they could not it me in, I wrote a terse msg to my DM asking her to forward to the planner. She could not to that but she talked to the TM and all of a sudden, from Laredo, load to Houston and flagstaff pulled, and now pu a best buy load to Tracy and then Fontana. Lost 1300 miles for Saturday and got back 2300 miles for Monday. Also light. I think that they knew that I PO'd.

Somewhere in the middle of TN at a Pilot.
Never bothered to check what town I'm in, but it's along I-40.
Kicking back after doing laundry and getting a shower, just about to start some dinner for Leann and me.
Easy days with this load. Less than 8 hours today, with 7.75 left on my 70 for tomorrow.
I love sleeping in. -
That is what I will be doing with this one picking up. No more than 8.5 hours per day for the next 4 days.
-
I don't mind at all.
If I use up my 70 at the end of 8 days and then run recap it seems like I'm always running at maximum hours, without having to sit for a couple days twiddling my thumbs.
And the weekly miles (and paychecks) seem to be just as good.
Better, these days, because if I can't start the 34 at just the right time I end up taking a 48 or 52 or something.
That 1-5 am requirement has really hosed the 34 hour reset. -
It is why I hardly ever take a reset. I think that if the system sees that you have lots of hours, then they can play some games, like try and give you loads that you have to use 10 to almost 11 to make it. When working off a recap, then they have to watch what they give you. I can even be out of the truck for 2 days, and when back in it, I will usually reject the 34 hour if I have lots of hours and still picking up many as the weeks goes on.

Chehalis, WA, at the Loves. Drop at Costco in Sumner tomorrow morning then taking the next day and a half off. Didn't get here til after 6:00 pm and got one of the last parking spots. Between the hills in northern/southern OR and the Portland traffic (BRUTAL) it took me 10 1/2 hours to run 547 miles.
My mother lives in Moses Lake (185 miles from Sumner) and given her age and health I'm not gonna miss an opportunity to see her.scottied67 and inkeper Thank this.
