*sighs* Company won't let me get fuel at a Loves, for a free shower, but if I'm willing to pay the price difference, they will. Difference is about the same, so might as well pay for the shower and deduct it from taxes. Think today is going to suck.

Hope your mom gets better and yea, getting old sucks.

 

I have had it happen a couple of times, the other driver just did not want to give up "his" load. TA will arrange a swap if they think a driver can not make on-time delivery, driver still thinks they can make it and does not want to loose the miles.

One guy was cool , talked to me and just said he would work it out with his DM. The other guy, I saw his truck in the fuel lane but he was not around, when I came back outside, he was driving off like he was leaving the scene of a crime.

Sounds scary and uncomfortable for your mom. God's speed on her recovery!

 

Where do you fuel? For the last 5 weeks, I have had only Flying J/ Pilot on my fuel solution, 100%.

I like Love's ok, but seems like I always have to wait 20 to 45 mins for a shower to be ready. It is nice to have a mix of shower credits, at least one at all of the big 3 plus 1 at Sapp Bros.

 

We only fuel at Apps and peelot and lately, its been S apps.

I have to be very careful, with my boyish charm and devilish good looks..... ( I'm pausing here till cranky and HTQ get over there hysterics!!), and only use it for the good side. Ended up getting a free shower at Loves. Go me!!!

 

Sorry about your Mom jungHo. I do hope she makes a miraculous recovery and this is just a scary moment for you and your family.

No swap in Birmingham but one in New Albany MS going to Bi-Lo in Mauldin SC. Beating a path down I 22 US 78, that and I 40 corridor this time out. Three day hometime as I will have been out three weeks. The swap driver wanted to know what was behind the swap and I told him I had hometime coming up so they have me headed east. For their part I gotta say. TA does a good job getting me home. Deuces.

passport, it seems like everyone is having one of those weeks. I have come to despise shippers and receivers that have no understanding of a driver ....it goes beyond being not driver friendly ....some of these places are plain old disrespectful and rude to men and women doing their best to do a good job. The king is not happy today ....says he has done nothing but deal with ....ahem .....yankees all day! I guess it's a good thing that I am old enough to realize that sometimes there's just nothing you can do but your best .....and that misery loves company.
