US-24 good road?

    Fort Wayne to Detroit, should I take US-24 to 75? Is US24 a good road with minimal towns?

    I absolutely love that stretch of highway and I bet you'll understand why when you drive it.

    Edited to add: Too bad my Garmin doesn't know it even exists. Yet, anyway.

    Thank god Ohio axed the split speed limit on those non interstate routes. Sucked having to trudge along such a nice road at 58 mph.

    I picked up the new motor carriers atlas and I noticed it, never had to take it before, but I guess it Beats the hell out of taking the 70 to the 75
