Cleaned my truck out yesterday and had the wife/kids come get me from Trenton. Guess this post is for all the Newbies. Millis was great to me... Everything they promised was delivered. I ran well.. 3200 mi average for nearly 2 years. Had a brand new truck after 3 months of being solo. Always got home ontime. Trained 2 students. No complaints. I would do it all over again if I was just starting out. Only things I hated about working for Millis had nothing to do with the company. I have 3 little ones at home and being away 3-5 weeks at a time started to wear on me. It was a great place to get my experience and make good money while being a rookie. I notified Millis Tuesday after I got a call from a local company that I was hired. They had me routed to a terminal to clean out the truck and get home within 2 days. I was told that they would be MORE then happy to bring me back if it didnt work out with the new company. Class act company IMO. I wasnt thrilled about the cameras and some of the changes. BUT as a new driver trying to get into trucking.. I still think it would be HARD to do better then Millis. Depending on your home situation it would be a good company to hang with for a while. Good luck to all future Millis drivers... See all you guys on the road!

Starting Burleson Aug 11. Got all written testing out of the way. Studied my balls off for all endorsements only to find out hazmat and passenger can't be taken without 1st road testing in those vehicles
