Don't look at me. I allmost let a guy go out with straps on his ld. and no edge protectors.. Ron and I helped him out and showed him how to chain it and use a couple of straps.
Ron had a better way to chain the front than I did.. See even us old farts learn from the young guys..peterbilt_2005 and MJ1657 Thank this. -
Right that's why I had to move and re-tie one my own chains 3 times.....but I almost strangled that young lady trainee when she asked why my excess chain was loose
Uh maybe because I am only half way done tieing down -
Oh I missed her asking you that.. I left the other thing out as I've have done that before.
Should of told her it was for later use that night with her.. lol -
1/2" chain but then she was a big girl

Terre Haute IN droped a quick Menard's ld off 9:45 pm they was not happy to see me make it before 10. Got to pick up a cell tower in the am just three miles down the road then head home home to be there by 10 am.
I had an aunt that lived in Brush Co spent alot of time out that way remember as a kid a case dealer around there was the only place we could get a tire for my papa's old 46' case.(still runs)
I also spent every summer in Burlington with family. Mom managed the Burlington lodge now Econo unless they changed names again.
Most my childhood was in central Co though Salida, Beuna Vista and Leadville. Can't wait to make it back out there to see my parents. Miss my mountains.MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Did u say a quick Menard's load ? I'm tempted to call your oxen morons !
Stopped at Walcott to play with Rocky the flatbed dog and near Peoria now to deliver to a new customer tomorrow and reload for Detroit. If things go well I'll be at the farm cracking that first beer by 2 pm. Oh, also talked total midwest domination strategies with Cluckaroo for a minute. I'm marking this one a W and going to bed.Last edited: Aug 1, 2014

Up and at em ready to roll. I love when I'm offered a load and they give me my rate....OTOH I don't like how fast they agreed to it. Always makes me wish I'd have asked what they got in it first for a jumping off point.
Looks like it may well be an early day for me today. Be good to get home noontime do some things around the office/house. Especially looking forward to beer drinking. Gonna see what kind of new brew I can get in to today
