Don't take this the wrong way and I might get an infraction for this but why are you having a baby if you can't even take care of yourself? Just asking honestly? Government cheese?

Gunner75, Brandson and UTurn1 Thank this.

Bingo Hegemeister, I'm not sure if he should get the hard luck joe award, or the nice guy of the year award. I don't think trucking will help the situation here, as it looks pretty unstable to begin with. Trucking takes a lot of commitment and with so much going on at home, this would not work out. This goes beyond my training as a truck driver, but he should concentrate on himself and his fiancee and the little one, trucking can come at a later date, it will always be there.

    Wild Murphy Thanks this.

If your tickets are from the same area you could go to court and the judge will put you on a payment plan and might even drop some of the fines if you tell them your story. A lot of the time the police will rack you up a lot of charges but the court is happy if you pay even a portion of what you owe.

    As mentioned.

The first step will be getting your LICENSE REINSTATED.
You need a Valid Drivers license.
Some of these Companies are desperate...but not that desperate.

After that you need to see how old your tickets are.

If you were still to young to drive, its very likely those things aren't on your driving record. Even with your lic suspended you can probably print your driving record online and take a look. I completely DESTROYED my driving record when I was younger, that's NOT and exaggeration! 28pts I believe I had at my highest. Used to pay more for insurance than my car., got suspended 8 times do to unpaid fines, driving school (forced) twice. But it got old and fell off and luckily when I moved to VA they didn't xfer everything. Point being, you not done for.

Pretty sure that companies want at least 3 years of an active license, don't they? The dude that just got his license back a few months ago isn't a prime candidate anyhow. Get your stuff settled at home. This isn't a dream job... With your record, you're probably gonna be working for 25 cents a mile, so you'll be broke on the road with any kind of financial obligations at home.
