I schedule for a interview with Schneider for their paid CDL training position. The recruiter told me I would be running OTR on 11 days out and 3 days home. I also will be getting .32cpm. How many miles does a Schneider otr driver average ? Also is it possible to get between 2500 to 3000 miles per with Schneider if I run hard ? I haven't seen to many threads about OTR drivers with Schneider so that is the only reason I started this one. Thanks for reading.

Yes it's possible plenty of company drivers accomplish it every week but on an 11 3 schedule it'll be hard to do every week

Go to the sub-forum, same thread you started this on rite below in blue," trucking company forums ".......

depending on how its set up you could do alright. The problem though is the three days off. sometimes those days will fall in the same pay week. makes for a short check.
Used to run the 6/3 with 2 other drivers. TAH was great but not for the wallet. -
Honestly for me 2500 is "ok" but 2800-3200 is easily accomplished as a company driver, just have to stay on top of your Next Avaliable Time and you can do the same
mickimause Thanks this. -
The issue isn't your ability to run,,,it's your ability to wait. There will be waiting to load/unload, maint, breakdowns, etc,,.all sorts of reasons to hold back your miles. My step son has been a punkin pusher for almost a year...has a great week,,,,2400,, the gets pissy if he has to sit on a load cause recvr closed early,,,or you try to track down an mt trailer.
it's all about the numbers,,over time it usually works out. Good luck. -
My recruiter told me I would be running east. So, I assume (i know, i know, don't say it) that could mean anywhere east of the Missippi, and the dreaded, I've read, northeast. In orientation, do we get to pick a plan? 6/3 or 21/2 or? How does it go after or during orientation? Is it set in stone or do we have options?

what job posting did you apply to?

I applied for a southeast regional driver. After physical and screening was done, he said there never was a position like that, I would be running eastern, whatever that means. I saved the webpage I applied to. I can show it. I'm not trying to start trouble of any kind. Not my style. Just hoping for info as to what options we have in orientation.

There was a guy in my orientation back in january that I laughed at cause he said southeast regional. I said I bet u it's all east coast. He wasn't to happy with my laughing but I bet he ran all east coast.
