I didn't think prime went back ten years! But no they aren't going to give you hell for not getting dates 100% correct they are going to call and talk to your past employers though. So if you were fired for something be honest about it

I've never been fired from a job ever. But I'm nervous I'll go to orientation and someone will pull me aside and say "hey, you didn't tell us you bartended at Billy Bob's bar in 2005, so hop on that dog back home".

They only verify the last 3 years, but still want employment history for 5 years on paper. They will verify the first three years before you ever show up. It's a prerequisite of a job orientation invite. All the recruiters will tell you this.

So tell 'em 'bout Billy Bob's. Oh yeah, don't forget Crazy Horse Tavern as well.:biggrin_25523:

I think you are stressing too much. Either that, or you actually are trying to hide something.:biggrin_25525:

Nah, you're just stressing too much. You'll be fine.:yes2557:

    I hope. . .:biggrin_2559:

I have plenty of work history. However the company I worked at before my current employer business. I worked there for about 6 years and don't know how to get in touch with my boss there.
    What do you guys think

Why do you need to get in touch with your old boss? Just do the best you can on the application, put down the name of the company, and their address and phone if you can remember them, if not, at least you should be able to remember the city and state. Again, just do the best you can.

I have the old phone number and address, but neither are his, so no one could verify my employment.

If they are unable to contact a previous employer, they will ask for proof of employment like a W2. I had to do this because the ice rink I worked at in high school was purchased by the park district and they didn't retain my employee file. Although I didn't have a copy of the W2, my recruiter gave me information on how to get ahold of the IRS and they were able to fax it directly to Prime.

OK, if you paid taxes on it, (ummmmmmm) then your tax return should show it. If not, you have kind of got yourself painted into a corner. Talk to your recruiters and see what they advise.

EDIT: Hey guys, I just realized this was in the Prime forum. Should have looked BEFORE opening my yap I guess. Anyway, I was talking in generalities, I have no knowledge of Prime and what they require. . .[IMG]
