School choice

    Ok...advice from the pros. What would you do? Family man here, married with 3 kids. Would you empty out your savings to go to a private cdl school, to be able to go to a decent company. Or, save the $$ and go with a company such as Pam or prime? Other paid cdl will not except me because I have 2 OUI's (both over 10 years). So..what would you do??

    You might wanna try Community College, their cheaper than the private schools. If there is anyway possible I would put yourself through school. If you go on someones else dime you gonna have to put up with a lot of crap. You'll be in a indentured servant, low pay, dealing with all kind of bull and if you get fed up and walk they will hold that tuition over your head. You'll wind up paying for it anyway, and these companies will try to get you for abandoning the truck if you quit. Give yourself as many options as possible, this way if the company you pick doesn't work out leave truck at terminal give proper notice and move on.

    what is an oui. Did you mean DUI? With DUI, many companies wont touch u, even if they are 10 years old
