Did you fix it? What problem it has?

Sounds like leaky cups. If that is the case you'll be pushing coolant to the left side of the reservoir.
Volvo has a new injector kit and runs 4500 installed new cups and injectors.Johny41 Thanks this. -
I'm getting a new head installed now. The injector bores were eroded to the point that they would no longer hold the cups. That is a 13,000$ job so I advise getting it checked quickly
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I upgraded to new conical injectors last week, luckly I didn't need new heads, been waiting 2 weeks in shop; they don't have the injectors in stock; are soo bad designed can't keep with demand; this bloodsuckers make more $$$ selling injectors than trucks. Now ,I have the EGR valve leaking oil, they don't have anywhere I checked for D13, backordered;
:smt067:smt070 EGR valve, I replaced it in 2012, 2013, and have to do it again in 2014; I'm 2 months over 1 year warranty again, BS Volvo,
I'm tired of expensive poor services and shortage of parts.

Expensive, you can buy a reman for 24,000$ , but installed +taxes=over 30,000$. here are the prices ive seen posted last week, for different stages of in frame ,this is in Ayr, Ontario in prices in CAD. I spent 8000$ for all injectors kit +cups +camshaft; I regret wasting $, I have 1,330,00 miles, I supposed to get a reman motor with 350k miles warranty, no headaches for next 3 years.

I agree. I don't believe I will buy another Volvo unless it is pre 2001. To many problems and the "techs" have no idea what is going on with these trucks. Garbage may be to nice a word for these trucks.
good luck -
So i have a volvo d13 and is pushing coolant to the left and also getting rough ride when I drive.but goes away when press or release gas pedalLast edited: May 14, 2016

If you have a hard start(engine cranks for awhile)excessive fuel consumption, vibration when going uphill you might have an injector problem. My advice is to take it to a dealership you can trust and have them test to see if they are leaking. Cost to do is about 6000 canadian or about 5,000USsomat Thanks this.

My hard start is not every time.
Fuel consumption is normal about 6.5-6.2
And make this little vibration when i am driving with 67-69 mph.
I will checked next week with my mechanic and volvo dealer to see what is going.
Like to see different opinions from mechanics on this.
Thanks
