Oh yeah! I wouldn't get but one or two at a stop. Now when I did a famous Dave's BBQ I'd sling a crap load of meat. They always got 300 cases. Take up a quarter of my trailer.

You never know man. A lot of big chains in trucking start out with one person. Economy is turning too.

Hey ryan, I know you are still a newbie. Perhaps you should stay with it, learn everything you can about it, then go for the gold. Most successful people are dreamers! Of course, that is not all they are. They learn, and then they do.

Radman is right on in his post to you!

    Radman Thanks this.

I know that you are right. It just gets hard sometimes is all. When my body is hurting. When my company treats us like were expendable. Because we are expendable I guess. So I come on here and whine about it lol. I know I need to stick it out it just gets tough is all. Thanks for your post

I do foodservice and so far i like it.Is it hard on your body, yes but take care of it and you will be ok.The pay is pretty good and once u get off the extra board and start getting your own route it really turns.

Oh that's just ridiculous man.....workman's comp. claim looking for a place to happen. I'd use a convertible for something like that. Work smarter no harder.

hey guys sorry to barge in am a gym rat! I was working for Get Fresh produce till a pallet came down on me and hurt my knee. I was getting 17.90hr they put me on light duty but it took me 1 hour and 30 min to get there so working 6 hours wasn't worth it so i resign. Am wondering how are you guys able to go to the gym so far the 3 companies I worked for i was working 14-16hours( food industry doesn't care if go over hours they want you back that same night for next route) so no time at all. Let me know guys!
