I'm set up in a lawnchair under a shade tree listening to classical music performed by the Boston pops up here at Tanglewood outside of Stockbridge mass. Music is cool. Ol lady loves this type of S... If they had some good beer, some kinda meat on a grill, and a few less hoity toitys I'd be feeling it a lot more. what can I say: I'm no wine n cheese fella; beer, brats and big racks are much more my style :0

 

I think you have casually stumbled upon the recipe for world peace.

Lawnchair, good music, meat on the grill, beer, big racks, no hoity toitys...and might I suggest a bonfire?

I usually open the doors and turn up hair nation or ozzys boneyard. Nobody has asked me to turn it down yet.

I gotta keep my variety down while in the truck em up stop.

 

Running an oddball load to Detroit. I'm ready to get back to my MN and KC stuff. Seen more traffic between Joliet and Michigan City than I've seen in the past two or three months, on a Sunday !

 

Going to be running local stuff this month. No more rad loads till mid September. Kinda glad because I need a break. Got 2 cross-towns moves lined up for tomorrow. Hope to be able to do one or two each day

Aurora,OR at the TA... went down to the bay area yesterday and helped my sister move and then went out to a pretty good redneck bar in Livermore.. there were some serious dimes in there. needless to say it was depressing getting 4 hours of sleep then having to come to this craphole

 

I always hear songs about girls from California. Not Indiana

 

Mary Jane's last dance...I am pretty sure Mr. Petty says something along the lines of "She grew up in an Indiana town...she moved down here at the age of 18, she blew the boys away she was more than they had seen." Petty is from JAX, FL not CA. But Indiana girls get props in at least one song. I am quite confident Iowa girls get no love in pop music. The closest they get is the "midwest farmers daughters" line in VH's "California Girls."
