I get p at myself when I make mistakes... :biggrin_25510: I should have asked dsp where I will drop the trailer after this delivery tomorrow...
She told me last Friday I would drop it at a shipper and head to co. warehouse in IN but didn't tell me WHERE... :biggrin_25510: And stupid me, didn't ask WHERE... :banghead:
Now I am at a Pilot, :biggrin_25510: about 1 mile from delivery tomorrow and would like to park at customer overnight... very quiet place... My appt is at 9 am... They arrive at 6 am and might be able to unload me then.... BUT my dsp arrives at 8 am.... And if I am empty at 7 am I will have to park somewhere and wait till my dsp arrives to tell me where to go next... :biggrin_25510:

Did a 4.5 mile power walk today from this Pilot to customer and then to Walmart nearby and back to Pilot... it is a sunny, hot (but not too hot for me) day... I was planning on parking at quiet receiver tonight but now I have just changed my plans... Will call customer at 7 am and if they tell me they can unload me early, I will go there...

    Here is where I am....

Busy busy day. I got up at 230, was asked to give a fellow driver a ride home. For $25 it's a yes in my book. It turned out the guy lives less than 5 mi from my pick up. I dropped him off, picked up my "hazmat" load of less than 50 lbs of alcohol and aerosols, another $20 extra. And to make it more sweet, it was a short haul load, another $20, so $65 plus miles on a 95 mi load. After all that, I grabbed a load that delivers Wednesday after my time off. See y'all then, toodles.

Man the last time I tried to stop there was back a few months ago. I made the mistake of telling my wife where I was going and she said "oh, hellno." If you are that close to home you better get here. Lol

I told her I was out of hrs. Lol

Then she told me that sex trumps fmcsa rules . Hahahahaha

The obvious solution here? Have your wife meet you at the casino. I met mine in Vegas a number of times.:yes2557:

Ok..silly question, why not park there anyway? Maybe you can hang out for an hour after delivery anyway? Or be able to creep back to the Pilot without starting your clock? Or how about not checking in till 7am even if they do get there at 6?

    Rocks Thanks this.
