I leave for cory in a couple hours and im really having 2nd thoughts i know you dont get paid 1500 a week just starting but 2000 miles a week should be minimum why keep hiring for bulk and your drivers are starving for miles

Like I said since ur getting hazmat and TWIC u should be perfectly fine on miles, I don't have TWIC yet which is one thing stopping me on miles and I know some ppl will disagree but I have talked to multiple drivers that do tons of loads requiring TWIC

I'm not trying to disuade you from going, I have been very happy with my decision to go with snbc. There are things I don't like of course but overall its been a good experience and I do recommend it to any new drivers trying to get into bulk hauling. My totals reflect all home time, breakdowns, training, slow periods, and general noob #### ups. Your experience may vary.

Hang in there, not alot of choices for a newbee to start out in tanking, get your year in, if it don't get better move on.
I'm seeing $1100-1400 a week, home almost every night and weekends off.
I could stay out or work the weekends and make alot more, but I like being home watching my kids grow up.

I agree with the others..the training you get will pay in spades later in your career.
I was a long time tanker yanker..it's good work and IMO makes you a better driver(due to surge and unloading/loading).

Do your time and move on if it's not paying enough.
Cryogenics is where the money is..best money I ever made as a company driver.

    harlycharly55 Thanks this.

You will be fine, you have to start somewhere and Bulk is the best place to start. You will cash in later I promise. I make a guaranteed 1450 a week where I'm at but I put in my time. In less than a year hopefully Firespock will join me over here and start getting paid real well. It's just a matter of watching those days tick by.

So did u make it? I am at Cora now. A lot of people, tall, short fat, slim all kinds of people.

This will be interesting for me lol. For someone that has only drove a 6 speed at school, and never drove really drove apart from school. I am looking forward to this training.
