I drove fb for them and saw N AZ alot. I was a cdl instructor and got my cdl again with 5th psd program. Yes the money is tight but it's honestly the best way to learn how to drive the truck.

Does anyone remember if there are any other differences between the online application and the application you fill out when you get to Springfield? I just want to be completely prepared, since I'm going to orientation here in a couple of weeks.

I believe I read in another thread the one you fill out at Springfield is more in depth. someone can correct me if I am wrong.

I recall it having the same questions. The only difference was that it was printed on paper, and you signed the block stating the truthfulness of all information.
leviathanish Thanks this. -
I'll second no prob with leg.
Have rods & pins in one of my legs from multiple compound fractures about 2yrs ago. Wasn't even an issue.
I run reefer and definately hit all lower 48. In &/or through AZ quite often. In fact, literally passing your place as I type!
Doesn't matter where live if your going OTR. When you request home time your FM will find you a load that will get you back. Location will be more relevant if going for a regional or dedicated route.azsteve Thanks this. -
thanks full metal !!! appreciate it, really was wondering if they have alot of loads going into Cal. via 1-40.. I live literally just of the I-40 and Bellemont (Pilot).... so I may see you running through some days. Was looking at local (PHX) big companies but I am leaning toward Prime , other than the 5 weeks with no pay will set my family back otherwise I would be putting in my notice now and headed to springfield.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you get paid during training and during the 40,000+ miles you have to run before you get upgraded to an "A" seat.

Yes there is, you'll need a full 10 years of work history or any info on why there is a gap between employment. So like if you were in school for 2 years you'll need the name and dates of the school. Stuff like that. You'll also need 5 references and 5 people for emergency contacts. It might be 3 people for emergency contacts. But just be prepared for that and they will call references. Also if you have had a drivers license in a different state or states over the past 10 years, make sure you have the states, dates and numbers if you know them. Plus you'll need all your addresses from everyplace you have lived in the past 10 years.
Hope that helps.leviathanish Thanks this. -
redctober, During training PSD is no pay, after you get the CDL then you are an employee and paid 600 weekly (so I am told )
