please educate me on going bigger with the exhaust, or not, on the single exhauster system. why, why not? I'm currently running 5 inch pipe on the isx with vgt turbo. Should I stay with 5 inch or go bigger, to 6 or 7 inch?
Thank you. -
QUICK QUESTION for everyone who's done Rawze's very well put out EGR tune-up;
(I've read all 27pages of this thread and watched all the videos)
when you guy's get the mixing pipe of etc, use the carb and choke cleaner, what then? Scrub the soot off with something like a toothbrush or some type of brush? Or does the carb and choke cleaner clean it itself? I'm just a little confused, I'm buying my IMAP and DELTA-P sensors here soon, just trying to understand the actual cleaning part more clear because they were not actually shown in Rawze's good videos !
Thanks in advance y'all ! -
bigNATURE Thanks this.

Oh and another QUICK QUESTION-
how long are you guys letting everything dry before putting them back on?
overnight? -
Carb and choke cleaner dries realitvely quick, you can use shop air to speed it up, but no sense in waiting over night. As soon as it looks dry put it back together.

I have a 2008 peterbuilt with the isxcm871 and its overheating but it does not do it all the time. When its running normal water temp. 188 and will go up to 200 normal driving pulling small hills, when it starts to run hot temp stay at 200 and when I pull any little hill temp goes up over 215 when pulling big hill goes over 225, when truck is running hot fuel milage goes way down 4.5 to 5. When running normal fuel milage stays up in the 6 to 6.5. I changed colant, replaced thermostats and cleaned radiator by blowing it out, nothing changed, still running hot sometimes anyone had the same problem and how did you guys fix it thanks
