    i got my class a with hazmat tankers and doubles i finished school in april have a job at a landscape company driving a truck with trailer that requires cdl i been at the company since 2010 i got one overwieght ticket on my record on 2013 im looking for jobs local that hire newbies since im new trucking i was looking for something local or suggestions of companies that might give me a chance i filled out a bunch of apps for ltl but no luck

    I'm a bit confused. You got your CDL in April of this year? You been driving a truck that requires a CDL since 2010 and you got an overweight ticket in 2013? Is that right?

    yes the owner registered the truck for 26000. the chp told him to drive with a class c. i was 26500 when got pulled over the truck and trailer are new they just bought them 2012 but the trailer is a 16 ft utility trailer rated for 15000 got a out of class ticket to but got dismissed at court work is slow so im looking to take advantage of my license i been working as a regular class c driver for 8 years

    Try Poolcorp out of Lancaster.

    Check around as to which companies deliver gasoline to service stations or food service delivering to convenience stores.

    Check if Cardinal Logistics has any openings in your area. It will show on their website map.

    Several new CDL drivers posted they were hired to haul fuel. Times are changing; companies that used to require previous experience are bending their own rules now to find drivers. Submit application, you may be surprised as to the job offers.

    Any gas haulers youk know of in so cal I know of cox petroleum and pacific tank lines. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
