What if your hauling bicycles? What can be stashed there? Or liquid hazmat in a tanker?

unlike all other forms of transport, car hauling ensures that you obtain cargo via non-reputable sources; therefore, incurring certain inherent and unique risks. In comparison, the airlines for example have traditionally not xrayed or otherwise inspected cargo imported from "reputable sources" (prior to 9/11/2001 specifically.) Imagine airlines shipping cargo from various assorted street vendors without inspection; the entire industry would go awry.

It's not your responsibility to search every car prior to shipping, unless you have a reason to believe drugs are in the car. I believe the person who owns the car will be liable if drugs are found. You will probably be interrogated but police will have to prove it's your drugs to put you in jail (if your fingerprints aren't on the package, then it's harder to prove). A mailman is not responsible if there are drugs in a package, and he's not required to inspect every package he delivers.
Fedex is accused of knowingly delivering prescription drugs for illegal internet pharmacies.
