I'm nearing the completion of my second 52 week lease with ATS. I saw this add and was wondering if anyone is in the program?

Who funds the escrow? Who gets the escrow draw-down? What are the company lease termination restrictions? That $5K incentive funds the escrow right?
Can you not get financed somewhere else, one that isn't charging you an extra 12-18K in interest over what a reasonable rate would be?

No glider kits...... Awfully high and mighty of them.

I worked there back in the good times.... Circle C days. Now that the terminals are franchised I wouldn't go near them unless it was local work for 1 terminal .....

11% for a bad credit tractor loan is a bad rate? Man, someone needs to be pulled for a random because I think you are smoking something.

Owner Operators are just a slightly worse credit risk than a crack head. Only two things that I don't like about this.

    1. You have to stay leased to them.
    2. What they pay.

But it is far better than most of the leases out there.

It's a 1/2 percent. Used financing is always more than new. Higher risk. Finance company knows with a new truck that they have a full warranty for the first 300k miles so less likely they will get stiffed if something major happens.

About the only thing that you don't see better rates on used vs new is on homes.

I have started the process and so far it's pretty cut and dry... you want a new truck pick one... they push the Volvos and freightliner's(they already have them sitting in Florida set up and ready to roll you just pick your color) but I am going with a 389 Pete , only because those and 379's and W900's are what I'm used to.
