    Hello everyone, my name is Angel and I decided to sign up with this forum since I've googled questions about trucking and thetruckersreport.com brings up the best answers. :biggrin_255: I am currently a 24 year old college student leaning in getting my CDL A license to pursue a trucking career after realizing hospital work is not for me. Hopefully I make good use of this forum from now on.

    Thanks! I've been browsing around for schools that may offer financial assistance since Im unemployed at the moment. :-(

    Goodwill Industries pays for CDL school; free to you.
    The program is somewhere on their websites.

    Both JBS Carriers and Schneider pay for private CDL school if you agree to work for them 12 months.

    Southern Refrigerated Transport will provide transportation to their school in Texarkana. While there they furnish 3 meals a day plus hotel room. You attend a 4 week CDL school at University of Arkansas Community College and stay at the Clarion Hotel.
