Home until Sunday... went and loaded lumber this AM up in Burney, Ca about 50 miles from the house then came back down to Redding and parked and came home... Got a level 1 last night in cottonwood as I rolled through empty... Probably the nicest DOT cop I've ever dealt with. lasted all of 15 minutes and have a nice new sticker for 90 days

Had to wait 9 hours for the customer to troubleshoot my machine - so 2 long days ahead to make the show delivery window

Past three days have been run hard, 750 miles, 785 miles, and 688 today, all with an od/ow. Getting too old for this.... lol
And there is no parking at Alaska West in Tacoma.

Well after a series of issues Fri. finally got mty late. When closing the trl. I lost my trl. brakes..
Seems the looms holding up the airlines and light cord broke. So the roller whell flattened and broke my service line.
All the unload guys went home.. Thank goodness I carry extra air line and fittings.
Getting the rental car this morning and going to see my Dad.
Then off Sunday to the hills and back roads of Pa. to ld. my rig going back to OKC..

 

Going to grab the truck and head to town to tie my load down that's headed to Kewaskum WI Monday morning. Then it's back to goofing around.

 

Went this morning and got my steer tire replaced under warranty as it seems they mounted it wrong and causes it to go out of round. Then went home and did a lot of odds and ends and pressure washed the frame and all the extra grease these places like to leave all around the fittings and bushings. Then once I fixed 10 things, I found 10 more things that need fixed. And so it continues ......
probably take the truck in an have motor mounts replaced and I have to figure out what's wrong with the shifter since it's getting very sloppy. I'm not sure if there is a rubber bushing where the handle connects to the ball/socket ???
