Got put on a load, where you could tell that my NAT was never even looked at. Lovely 2300 mile run though from Coos Bay, Or to Ft. Worth. Picked up yesterday afternoon and was a NIGHTMARE to scale. 10 4400 lbs bags of sand. Thank god they had a scale on sight. Then I got worried and scaled it at the loves on MM119 I5, Oregon. Got it down to 300 lbs difference on all axles, with a full tank of fuel. I only have 13 hours left and then no hours for 2 days, did almost 3400 miles in 6 easy days . They finally decided to have me relay it in French Camp, as the shipper refused to move the Monday morning delivery time. I'm guessing the sand if for production. Even had I the hours, it would have been extremely tight. I left the final scale ticket and my 5th wheel setup and truck type on the ticket. The other Driver was supposed to have picked it up at Noon today and it's still out there. No way a Solo is going to get it there in time.
If I could have weeks like this, every week, I'd never have anything bad to say again. I've been back on the West coast for about 4 weeks now and it feels like I'm on vacation. NEver have any trouble finding parking. Haven't heard any racial fights since I've been back. No freeway shutdowns every single day. 1200 mile runs. I have been driving vampire times and have been very happy with that. But now I have to do a reset and I'm going to sit for almost 2 days because of how the reset is now. I'm hoping that they do retro act of the darn thing and get it back to the way it was before. I'm also hoping that the new Head of the FMSCA is going help and not hinder, destroy, make lives miserable and actually accomplish something productive for all parties.
