I always wondered why a big couch. I mean how often do you have that many guests over? A huge desk would make it into a nice office instead of a den.

-
Do they come looking that clean?
-
They are all that clean until a flatbed driver get in one.
GoldenLad, taxihacker66, Lucar and 1 other person Thank this. -
I work in the equipment division and haul equipment but every once in a while, I have to haul flatbed and everytime I do, when I 10-8 my dispatcher, I tell her, did I ever tell you I hate pulling flat bed loads? lol
Its too much work, I was taught, work smarter not harder. Everytime I pull a skateboard, I sweat like a mofo and I'm dirty, or have to tarp or climb a ladder to add softners on top of a 9 foot pile of steel. Or play Jenga with a load of steel. -
I have been working for tmc and I love it just don't let them talk you into a dedicated route until you do a little research on it some areas are the worst for dedicated some are the best you could have ever done

^^^^^ this guy
He's correct, there is a dedicated route near my home where I can be home every other day, a load of aluminum coil going from Alcoa Lancaster Pa, to precision strip minster ohio, it pays about $600 each load. The dedicated runs really are dependant on the back haul load. The current average for that load is around $3600, but I come across a guy who runs it that says he's getting around $4300 a week.now that's to the truck, he's on percentage and gets 31%. -
I run long haul simply because I need the variety and that's what allows me to make the 4500+ a week in renevue to the truck any dedicated route that I have come across would be a significant pay cut

I was on ryerson dedicated in Minneapolis before before I forget who took it over, but that was not too bad of money. There's a new dedicated position in the Iowa, Minnesota, Easter. South Dakota area too now. I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's the decker Sheetrock crap.

Well guys as I said before I would be keeping you all updated. I won't be going with TMC. Called to check on my app and the reason is because they were going to go with better applicants. I am not bad mouthing TMC at all. Just want to put that out there. Hope all the current drivers at TMC be safe out there and God bless!
