Then the guide only suggest that you and yours would have another option IF/WHEN Ch19 is unbearable. I am only trying to make the cb more user friendly for all. I have not seen nor heard of any other driver/cb shop doing anything near this. Why by a radio that offers 40 channels, yet for some strange reason everyone thinks Ch 19 is the only channel to use. Then speak negative about that!

basically the am band can be used by anybody as they wish except for channel 9 so i guess it really doesnt matter, i know when i get with a buddy we randomly pick another channel so we can chat undisturbed and without disturbing others, some guys just want to be on 19 so they can make new friends and tell there life story, others simply leave it on for the traffic report... whatever floats your boat

Then I will depend/expect you to get this chart out to all of your countrymen/women drivers. I have to change Ch12 to French Canadians and move our Russian friends to Ch 28. I will update this in the next day or two. Take Care!

Your chart is incorrect also as there are signs all over the state of Ohio that will beg to differ with your statement about Channel 9

Officially Ch. 9 is still the emergency channel but does anyone even monitor it any longer? Does REACT still exist? In this day and age when almost everyone has a phone in their pocket, the whole Ch 9 thing seems horribly antiquated.

That said, yeah, I hear a lot of Spanish on 9... mostly from Mexico.

What is incorrect so that I can correct it? What do the signs in Ohio say? It is a fact that most Highway Patrol Unit have already or will soon remove the cb from patrol cars. Most have stopped monitoring ch 9 throughout the USA. Most does not mean ALL!

But this is not the point: If you look closely at my chart, I have left plenty open channels for undisturbed communications on cb; if this is such a thing.........................................Again, I hope to encourage others to USE the cb radio.
