Also, regardless of where you go, you can download and print or pickup at the dmv the Texas CDL manual and do your tests and endorsements BEFORE you begin class, except for the HAZMAT which must be done after. You can get your TWIC card now as well. While you are at it, you can do the OSHA 10 online and the H2S online course and you stand a better chance of being hired by whoever you apply for if you are interested in tankers.

School complete and passed at the DMV here in San Antonio. All 5 of us from Sage passed. I am satisfied that I received what I paid for at Sage and would recommend them to anyone. All 5 of us also had as many pre-hire letters as applications as you wished to complete. We had students go to Pump Co., Loves/Gemini, Sanjel and 2 are still considering options.
Thank you Noel, Monica, Wayne, Richard, Emily, and Victor (Roo) at Sage.DubDub Thanks this. -
Thanks for the update Sannok.
I have been in contact with Monica and one of the other guys there. They seem to have answered any questions I could come up with now. And I am planning on heading there once I get back to the US in a few weeks now. At least as far as I am thinking right now anyways.
It is nice to have some feedback from someone with recent experience now. -

Sanook just curious how the course can be between 3-5 weeks would seem like there would be a set amount of time for driving. How many days did it take you? Also which company did you hire on with if you don't mind me asking? I'm retired from the army in 2012 (23 years) but will have to pay for it out my own pocket since I had transferred my GI Bill to my kids while I was still in and used it all.
