I was offered this
Before you leave your job. I need you to be 100% sure that you want to drive for ny company. I don't want you to keave your job and things not work out and you end up without a job. For starters, there are no job interviews for this job, as we are short staffed. This the biggest reason we are offering 25%, we need drivers. You would drive M-F. One load outbound from your area, another load inboud back to your area. You will have a truck and and a trailer 24/7. You will be responsible for it. You will be shipped a money card and a gps. You will spend every night at home. On saturday mornings you will be wired money to go to ryder truck rentals to drop off a trailer and truck, and pick up a trailer and truck. We are renting trucks vecause we want to avoid long term maintenance fees and property taxes. You will receive 25% of every load you deliver so the loads you deliver the more you get paid. You will not have to deal with any bosses or managers, just one dispatcher who will set up load pickup/dropoff points. You will be transporting every type of load except hazmat materials and fruit. You will be home everynight 99% of the time. That pretty much sums up the job. So when can you start driving?

Seems a little iffy to me. Personally I'd thank them for their time and keep looking.
-
I've got a bad feeling about this, something seems fishy about this. I could be wrong but my instinct says run away from this.
-
Thats the feeling i got.

Might want to wire some money to them so it secures the job, lol.
Puppage, Mr Ed, Shaggy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sounds like a lot of BS to me.
-
Sounds like they may not have proper numbers if they're running Ryder Rentals, then again they may have that and magnetic signs, fishy indeed.
-
Hiring people without interviews? What? No mention of what kind of freight or why you're swapping your truck every week. Sounds like drugs or something else illegal.
RERM Thanks this. -
25% of jack #### is jack ####. Your going to have a truck 24/7 be home every night, one load out one in and swap equip at ryder? Am i missing something? I didnt know ryder was a stockyard for full trailers... just my thought
