I have an 07 Columbia. Recently the cruise quit working. I did some tracing and concluded it was the on/off switch. Well, I changed that but it still didnt fix it. I can set the high idle but not cruise. I have looked for fuses but I havent found any for the cruise. Has anyone experienced this? Im running out of ideas. Thanks for any help!

Could be clutch or brake switch. They will disengage the cruise from working.

Hmmm. Recently had the brake switch replaced. I wonder if something happened there.

have you tried pulling the pedals up with your foot to see if it will work then? Sometimes the return springs get weak or break and the pedal doesn't return all the way up, keeping the switch open and not letting the cruise work. Usually the clutch pedal.

The columbia cruse is glitchy. I think the ECU gets hung up when it gets a bad indication, even if the sensor now says it fine.

Heres what i found to make mine work 99% of the time.

NEVER start the truck with the cruise switch on. Always turn it off before turning truck off. On after the truck is running.

If you do leave it on when starting, you need to shut it off for like 30 seconds then turn it on. (more likely to have problems)

If it still doesn't work.....hit the brake, then the clutch, then the trailer brake handle in that order. making sure each one seats to it fully out position. Trailer brake was the main culprit on mine. dont need to push um in hard, just enough for the sensor to relize you were on them and are now off. Hope this helps.
