Sorry BHW,but my post was the truth.
The know it all with a condecending attitude had it coming and judging by all the likes my post received,I wasn't the only one that felt this way.
I feel the post wasn't out of line.

Well, seeing as you had to throw that little gem out in a thread, care to elaborate as to the reason why that is so?
Yeah I am well aware that either I rub some mods the wrong way, or they just decided I was the lucky one to receive their wrath, but really?
Is your above comment meant to be an attempt to goad me on? Not that that is the very thing I got a slap on the wrist for or anything......
Or does it just appear to be that way to a few of us?
Here is a genuine suggestion to you. Go look at ALL my posts and replies, not just a select few. Then maybe some will realize I am actually a semi knowledgeable person that, as a rule, attempts to help others out.
Just a suggestion like I said.....

Let this one go, friend. It's not that important in the grand scheme of thing. If the rules of the playground says 'no throwing rocks' then no throwing rocks. We will still play, right?

 

Why would anyone take you mods seriously when all you do is gang up on the valuable members of this community that are only reacting it the root cause of the problem anyway??

I understand you have a job to do, but the op of that thread has a problem with anybody that doesn't think like him. It seems like you all go out of your way to make the old timers feel unwelcome here.

These are just my observations so ban me if you want. Besides outside of this thread and a handful of others this forum has become a joke of people with no experience thinking they know everything there is to kno about running a trucking outfit.

I want to add that I don't include oscar in here at all most of his decisions on post are at least rational.

Hey friend, I know what you're saying. I agree 100% with you! I do! The mods are trying to be neutral. See, here's the problem. He didn't come here jumping in on a thread, our guys went there.

I was in the gym dead lifting early one afternoon, training for a meet. I was ripping 405. When you set that much weight on the floor, it makes people nervous. People complained, and the management came and had a talk with me.

"I have a membership. I'm in the free weights section. What's the problem?"

The problem was that 495 lbs landing on the concrete floor was deafening, and during peak hours, there were wayyyyyy too many people in there. It was a free weight section, but this was one of those fruity colored family gyms where most people pretend to exercise. Was I wrong? No, but see, there's more people than just me in the gym. It wasn't one of those small dark dungeon type gyms. I had to remember that.

There are more people here than just the Cool Kids. That don't mean we can't be cool...it just means we can't throw rocks at the dingleberries. Okay?

 

For what it's worth, I would also like to include bhw in the level headed mod club. She has been nothing but courteous to me, even when handing out a slap on the wrist.
I moderate on another forum deal, and one thing we attempt to do is make it a level playing field and try our best to keep the more valuable members. Without that hard earned experience to give advise, the new members sign on once then leave. Shortly after that advertising revenue all but goes away. It's a balancing act I know, but there certainly appears to be some hypocrisy around here these days....
Just what I have noticed, and I may be off base, who knows....
