You try parking an oversize ld. in some of those Love's and Pilots..
I never said I was a big fan of T/A food.. I just like the old style full service places.
Seems weird they did not just buy the old Lucky 13 from who ever owns the land and open the trkstp there instead of tearing up ground for a new spot.
new Love's going up

Love's suck. Them and most pilots have the littlest parking lots. Love's are terrible about only having a couple showers. They never get cleaned and it's always a wait to get one. I've not stopped at a Loves in forever because of how much of a fustercluck they all are. It's good that an area that needs some truck parking is getting something but Love's is barely above something.

I'd rather have arbys than chesters

the point is, we drivers are SICK AND TIRED of fast food , these places. Name me one of the big 5 who have opened up a non chain full service sit down table service restaurant.

Well said, Raider. Love's is a poor excuse for a truck stop. Sadly lacking in parking, no laundromat, not even a mailbox to drop a letter, bill or postcard.
Love's thux!Raiderfanatic Thanks this. -
You don't like fried grease for supper??? Greasiest chicken I ever ate at Chester's in S TX.GunSlinger3531 and double yellow Thank this.

Loves is not a truck stop nor is Pilot they only want your companies fuel money as they are "fuel stops"

Chester's is the worst excuse for chicken I've ever attempted to eat. How do you screw up chicken strips?
The Loves in Fort Stockton looks like it's about to open. It may be open now, not sure. That one has a Carls Jr.double yellow Thanks this. -
Drivers have demonstrated over and over they are not willing to support a full service establishment. I like them too, hate the fast food, but the cost of providing a full service restaurant and other entities is more money than drivers either can afford or are willing to pay. They have to recover those costs in the price of fuel and the mega fleets buy where it's cheapest. They don't care if you have dirty clothes, poor diet and can't find a place to park. They care about direct costs.
The full service truck stop is a thing of the past.TLeaHeart Thanks this.
