Quick question about drug screening

Am a student about yo start school, will ritalin show up as an amphetamine on a urine test? What a hair folicle test? How long does it stay in ur system? I have script but chose not to disclose for fear I would get blackballed n not hired when I graduate

 

If they ask, you better disclose it. That is if you want to work in this field. Because if they catch you lying on a application you would have a much bigger problem. It's best to go the extra steps to make it legal. Do you really need this drug? If you do then you make sure the doctor that prescripts this to you is fully aware of what he needs to do. You should also talk to the company and ask them. Try to lie and you could just write yourself out of work forever.

In previous career, we got drug tested a lot. 3 maybe 4 times a year. It was "random" but our Safety V.P. was so anally retentive about drugs in the workplace that he was constantly issuing "random" drug tests. Could care less about worn down safety equipment like height harnesses, and hard hats being worn all the time....but drugs were the devil to him so we always had to be ready to pee in a cup. In my experience with all this, full disclosure was always the best course of action. The OP is concerned about an injection. Get something from the hospital, CYA (Cover your ###), that way if it does show up BAM you have the documentation. And if it doesn't....CYA! Saw too many guys get put into residential rehab for a "first offense" for 28 days with NO PAY because they didn't provide information up front about painkillers or something. Marijuana and coke and stuff was immediate dismissal as was a second offense for piankillers and what not.

Just my opinion....take it or leave it, but always always always CYA!!!

 

60 to 70 days if you have a slow metabolism ( overweight) and compulsive user. A couple hits at a poker game (about 7 to 10 days. They lowered the testing from 50 nanograms to 15 nanograms a few years back. Best to abstain to avoid jail (manslaughter charges) and to be safe and have a good job. JMO

 

If you start working out a lot it will help get the crap out of you faster. skinny folks get rid of it faster because its stored in your fat cells. Don't trust those cheap 15 dollar walgreens home test. go to a concentra and tell them you want to have the 70.00 test and make sure you tell them no to DOT so its not recorded for them. my writing sucks but you get the point. 5 years ago I used to smoke weed all the time and it took close to 90 days to get out of my system. I have never taken a drug in my life...not even tylenol. Get the picture? lol driver, you will be fine, just be as honest as you need to be.....

 

I have taken lots of drugs in my life. I have even taken Tylenol and I still drink cold beer. Yea I don't do drugs anymore (illegal ones) .
