Yeah then there is that. You can always come in on saturday and run an extra 500 miles and things like that. Some people really wanna pay off their mortgage and hustle their way to it!

By golly, that's one way to do it. If the truck driver should either get laid off, terminated, or get injured, he or she has a house to go back to without having to worry about being homeless. It would be great if more Americans were in a position to be able to do the same with their house mortgages.

Team Care sucks, Read up on it. I won't forget to mention we ( I and few others on here and plenty more ) will tell you, Brown indeed thinks freight is the slow blind deaf step ginger kid from the hood in Compton,Ca. The money is nice with experience, Not worth the stupid PETTY headaches from management. I won't give much details and TTR is not the place to air brown laundry. Little bit of research shows where we air the laundry.

The true brown guys have even more complaints. Very high wage, comes with many headaches.

P.S The lifer brownies ( groomed from the start of career) adjust to the ways, us outsiders dislike adapting too weird ways.

It's hard when your significant other can't/won't work and you have more mouths to feed. But if you are single or your wife makes decent money or your kids are already independent you can put money away like crazy. I've seen it happen, and I'm trying to follow that example.

UPS can afford too fix there own trucks.
Don't let them suck you into doing it for them.
I still say L/P is for suckers that can't get a truck with conventional financing.
Trucking companies already screwing drivers bad enough by "paying by the mile."

Can you explain? Even if it's by private message. I've created this huge myth around UPS that it's the best thing since sliced bread because of the high wages, but what kind of BS do you have to deal with? I know I make less than those guys but I have about as much freedom as I've had in any job.

Well then Apply to UPS. I encourage anyone to apply. I couldn't adapt after being groomed by ABF. Negative on sending Private Message or airing laundry. Not going to make anyone discouraged from applying based on my employement

P.S Team Care does indeed suck

Then tell me what is it about ABF that makes it a better fit for you. Info is very important.
