Felony? 5yr probation? OK you got me beat on that...
SPEAKING of Lemonade... between yesterday and today I got a call from CRST. So far things are looking good. I am just waiting on the final call. I have seen on here about a 50/50 good vs bad on here about them, but you have to take alot of stuff on here with a grain of salt huh?
And Mick had it right...
If I can't get what I want, I will take what I need.

Keep an open mind when readin' what others say about these companies. My ONLY warning about a company is C.R. England.
DON'T GO THERE!
Period.
It's time to think outside the box.
Do what NASCAR racer, Carl Edwards did.
He had business cards printed up advertising his services as a race car driver.
Folks laughed at him for doin' that.
But he did it anyway -- and it paid off when a team owner mentioned to another team owner that he was lookin' for a driver.
One of the team owners remembered Carl's card -- that he had kept in his wallet -- and gave it to the owner lookin'.
Long story short, he got a test session and was hired.
Now Carl flies his own twin-engine airplane.
Imagine that.
When headin' for the job when he first got it, his friends had to help him push start the old car he had back then -- so he could drive from Missouri to Charlotte.
Don't shut if off, Carl.
From the outhouse to the penthouse.
Would that work for YOU?
Hmmmmmmm :smt102
Are you willing to TRY?
Now-a-daze, you can print your OWN cards right on your computer. Hand 'em out.
Some may laugh.
And SOMEone might NOT --- and give you a call.
Might not be the next day -- and you might be in training with another company -- but there's the FUTURE. Go with the best company for YOU.
Aim HIGH!
Don't settle for a bottom feeder any longer than you have to -- to git 'er done.
Look for "nitch" companies, like those who do trade shows. Many drivers don't like trade shows because you're away from the home-20 for the duration of the tour. But I think they're more interesting to do than grocery warehouses.
While the trade shows are in progress, you're stayin' in a motel, collectin' as much pay as those who are runnin' against the wind. You probably won't see those 120,000 mile years, but the pay WILL be comparable.
Are those companies easy to find?
Not usually.
But if you keep your eyes and ears open, you'll see and hear about 'em.
And SOMEtimes, they'll want you to work the warehouse and do local pick-ups in a Big truck to load the show stuff that's goin' on the show trucks, which will be transfered at the warehouse docks -- or they may use you as a fill-in for a driver needin' time off.
HeY!
A warehouse worker with a CDL-A is a handy employee to have.
And, as an added bonus, you'll be "home"just about every night.
At least until they have an opening for a road driver or show driver. And, believe me, they'd prefer to hire from within because you'd already have a working knowledge of how the company operates. In fact, that very well could give YOU the edge over a walk-in applicant with YEARS of Big truck drivin' experience.
It gets your foot in the door.
Once there, strive to achieve.
Companies look for employees who can git 'er done -- and, make them a PROFIT.
Bottom line.
Show 'em you're the one.
You CAN do this, JL.

SPEAKING of getting a call...between the time of my last post and now, I have been talking to CRST... and I was accepted.
I told them everything, e-mailed certain papers and I was accepted.
Any thoughts? -
I told you so.

Well, I'm a company driver, and IF I had something BAD to say about the company I driver for, I'd say it. OoOoOh what are they going to do? Fire me? Who cares. Plenty of other jobs out there, doesn't have to be trucking. The company I drive for isn't worth my time for me to write anything bad about them anyway, they waste enough of my time out on the road. And if companies don't want bad things said about them, then maybe, just maybe, they should learn NOT TO SCREW THEIR DRIVERS!!! A happy and content driver has nothing bad to say. Right? Right. A screwed driver will tell his pain, sorrow, complaints etc... Right? Right. I don't live MY life worring about what "OTHERS" think, or what they will say about me. If I have something to say, I will. And if I think it will hurt, I'll say it anyway. Maybe something will change in the second party. Trucking companies care about ONE thing and ONE thing ONLY, (not YOU), MONEY. They are worried about their BOTTOM LINE. Drivers? Hell they can find drivers just like they found YOU. Dang, I gotta go, Hey Trucking Companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One thing before I go....YOU CAN'T BUY YOUR WAY OUT OF HELL WITH THAT MONEY, BUT YOU CAN WITH THE GOOD YOU DO FOR OTHERS, REMEMBER THIS: GOD HELPS US SO THAT WE CAN HELP OTHERS!

One of my instructors drove there for a while and she didn't have a problem there. -
There are also plenty of other Big truck truck drivers out there to be hired. Doesn't have to be you.
Maybe, just maybe, they oughta UNscrew their drivers. Let NO driver go unscrewed. Give their drivers 40 acres and a good unscrewin'.
"Right"?
Right, is wrong, ..... in this case, anyway.
Asked and answered your own question.
Are you tellin' us your pain, sorrow, complaints etc... ?
I think -- when I'm doin' the right thang, I don't worry about what others wind up thinkin' 'bout me either.
That's why I think it's prudent to be and do what's acceptable and correct whenever I can. You know, do the ol' .........
Do the right thang --
even when nobody is looking.
I figure I'm, at least someBODY, ergo I see myself, or is it a reflection?
That can be good or not so good, maybe even bad.
I've heard, "Think twice, speak once."
After that, if y'all still wanna say whatcha say, I say 'GO'! And just might agree.
Now,........... if y'all say it before givin' it much thought, perhaps
Silence Is Golden.
Ya reckon.
Do you mean physical "hurt"?, Emotional "hurt"?
Pride?
And what if you KNOW it will "hurt" -- might that be a reason to do it?
However, I'm also aware that, SOMEtimes, the truth can hurt. Hurt ain't necessarily a bad thang. When there's a lesson to be learned, no pain, no gain.
I guess.
What do they call a person who enjoys or seeks ways to "hurt" other folks --- just for that reason?
I forget.
There was a FIRST party?
Dang-nabbit!
I'm gonna fire my secretary and kick stuft puppies for not informing me.
Hmmmmm
Unless there was a reason.
And so should/would YOU if it were reversed.
Where would you rate the "BOTTOM LINE"?
Have you tried?
Recently?
With this inflation --- hell just might be the easy/only way to go. And easy to find and get there --- to get there, all one has to do is nothing.
How cool is that?
**excuse the pun**
requiring?
(Help)
Are you aware that there are those who subscribe to:
God helps he who helps himself. ?
Sounds like a conflict.
Ya reckon.
Then, there's this one;
To each -- according to their needs
From each -- according to their ability.
Do you think that'd work and solve the problems?
I'll take de job!!
Too bad eZ don't like drivin' teams.
We could team together and git 'er done.
Imagine that.
CottonEyedJoe Thanks this. -
