HEY DRIVERS,
NEED SOME GOOD ADVICE. I'VE BEEN DRIVING FOR USA TRUCK SINCE 2012 I STARTED OFF WITH THEM AS AN INTER MODAL DRIVER OUT HERE IN CALILAND.
THEY STOPPED THAT BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T COMPETE WITH WHO EVER. WHILE I WAS DOING THIS I HAD 3 ACCIDENTS,(OOPS JUST REALIZED I HAD THE CAPS LOCK ON).
I WASN'T TICKETED FOR ANY OF THE INCIDENTS AND THE DMV SAYS THAT 1 WAS MOST AT FAULT 2 IS UNDETERMINED AND THE 3RD(OOPS I STILL HAVE THE CAPS LOCK ON , LOL), there is no report filed by any law agency .USA has determined that the 1st 2 are preventable . the last was not preventable .the problem I'm having is USA is making these accidents out to be really bad and they weren't . example the 1st accident the person that hit me came up the left hand shoulder as I was making a lane change and when she ran out of room turned into my drives the chp was 3 cars behind us the person had no drivers license, her car registration out expired y 6mos, and belonged to somebody else, her insurance was expired by 6or7 mos and in totally different name than was on the registration the only thing that had her name on it was a passport from michoacan mexico. after telling the officer this he looked at me and said it's still your fault because I left my turn signal on. you can't beat that 1 with a stick the other 2 are both indetermined on who was at fault but the company says I'm at fault . right now I just need to get back on the road so I can feed my family, the process to try and right these wrong claims will take much longer to fight than I have left so if any 1 can help let me know

Regardless of what really happened, if they have it down as preventable, you may be stuck with that, unless you contest it in some way. I would suggest finding some smaller companies that would be willing to take you on with those accidents. I don't think any of the larger companies will. But you never know until you start applying at every place you can think of.

thanx , tracy I know it will be difficult , I left on really bad terms from USA they refused to get home after being out for 3 months ,and they are painting a really bad picture even after the way they constantly screwed me keeping me 3000 miles from home then barely producing any miles for me and then telling me that's all I'm going to get because of where I'm at in the north east

Your best bet is like TracyN posted; start knocking on doors with the smaller companies and maybe someone will give you a break. There's some 2nd chance companies you can try, but the pay is low and horrible home time. Better than being unemployed though.

Try a company called Quest Global out of Cartersville, GA they hired me with an accident on my record they strictly run CA, Or, WA and back to GA, and FL there are a couple odd ball customers but they might be a good fit for you just to get bide time to get those accidents to fall off

Didn't like the answers in the other thread you started???
You are asking for advice, yes?
1) Get a job.......ANY job......(NOT DRIVING)......pay some bills, hire an attorney that specializes in this sort of thing. Work through it. Get your mind right.
2)As you work through this process....consider a defensive driving/refresher course. I don't know the time span these "accidents" occured in; but let's face it: insuring you is not going to be easy.
3)I do not know you; and am NOT insulting your intelligence or skills........but I know very few people who have had 3 "accidents" and are still driving for a living. It may be time for you to re-evaluate your career choice.
Same answer in this thread.wrongway<right and crappiejunkie Thank this. -
3 accidents, sorry to hear that what happened on other two. If they were minor might stand a chance to get a job but would probably be with Western Express or company like that.

thanx , and it's not my skills , when u run the san bernadino / L.A. area it's just a matter of time before they happen , I'm not insulted at all I'm grateful for ur advice and suggestions and I will take these under serious consideration as far as the other thread I got hit by a troll ( a not very nice person) and hope that thread is over . and I didn't appreciate his sarcasm at all . after driving over the road for 4+ years I have a deep respect for my fellow drivers and am finding out just how terrible most of these big companies are to the drivers, especially training companies . but there is nothing finer than seeing America thru that big windshield ! once again thanx , and give me a shout out any time

thanx , a lot of people have mentioned western express, I'm going to contact them keep ur fingers crossed for me

they run teams don't they? u drive for crst ? that's who I started with I would still be there if I could have found some one with enough experience to run Conway air dedicated I teamed with a guy named rick knight we were the #1 air freight for crst , but he was having problems at home at the time and wanted to be closer to home all the time, oh well.
